I'm totally stymied trying to come up with a post which expands on the month's theme of “Look Up”. So, I'm not going to follow the theme today.
Tonight I finally finished reading Hex Marks the Spot by Madelyn Alt. This is the 3rd in the series (“Bewitching Mystery”) and I immediately picked up the 4th book—No Rest for the Wiccan. It took me longer than usual to read this book because of the long days I've put in at IBM's Impact Conference. Each day starts very early (did you know that sunrise in Las Vegas is 5:45?) and it can be 10pm or later before I get back to my hotel room.
So, I was quite pleased to finish this book just after dinner tonight. This was the third book I read since the first of May, and the 55th book this year. I hope to finish at least one more book before I get on the plane heading to Poughkeepsie on Sunday.
I'm looking forward to the end of the conference and the weekend. I think I'll sleep late on Saturday. And, I'm just going to veg out with reading and maybe a little bit of crocheting on Victoria's blanket. Here's to weekends!
