B is for Breakfast

It's been a couple of weeks since we have seen Steven's parents, so we decided to meet for breakfast around 10:30 this morning. Jaime wanted to join us, so we gathered at the Old West Cafe in Sanger. For some reason, they were unusually busy with large parties today, so we had to wait a short while for a table. As always, though, it was worth the wait.

Grandma decided that it was time for brunch instead of breakfast and she ordered a salad. The rest of us stayed with the original plan and soon we were snarfing down eggs, sausage, bacon, toast, pancakes, potatoes, and even oatmeal. I ordered a cheese omelet made with egg whites, sliced tomatoes, and a whole-grain pancake. And I ate the pancake like toast rather than coating it with syrup and butter.

By creating scrapbook layouts for each day, at the end of the month I'll have a nice brag-book sized album to help me remember April 2011. It's likely to be an average month and not particularly memorable—except for the fact that I chose to record our activities day by day.

Breakfast

I love breakfast.

You mentioned the thing about not seeing many visitors yet. It may have something to do with your blog format. Since it looks so alien to folks who blog on Blogger or Wordpress they may be intimidated with they come here and don't try to comment. Just keep visiting other blogs and leaving comments and you should eventually start seeing a few people. Let me know how it goes.

Contrary to my usual practice of subscribing to comments, to save time during challenge I will not be doing so during April. If you want to respond to my comment , please email me directly from your email notification for the comment.
Thanks.
